Description

Built in 1929, St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church was constructed to help serve the growing Catholic community in and around the Cleveland area. By 1980, the neighborhood had changed, and the once bustling congregation had dwindled to under 100 members. This forced the church to close its doors. The church experienced numerous owners who all struggled with maintenance, where it was finally abandoned in 2010. The church say uninhibited for six years before being demolished.
